CROSSWALK Test Prep & Tutoring officially turns 21 today. Happy Birthday to us!
What started humbly as a marketing research project at M.I.I.S. (then the Monterey Institute of International Studies, now known as the Middlebury Institute of International Studies) is celebrating 21 years of tutoring and test prep today.
As founder, I have found tremendous pride and joy in connecting with all students, tutors, school administrators and families who make up the entire CROSSWALK community for the past 21 years.
Who would have thought that the business plan for a tutoring company I originally drafted while in graduate school would lead to today: a celebration of 21 years of supporting the supplementary education and college planning needs of so many in the Monterey Peninsula and beyond?
What's more, CROSSWALK continues to explore what is possible in the tutoring and test prep space. Our partnership with Empowered Admissions has led to not just one college planning guidebook, but two! One in Spanish and one in English.
I will be raising a glass tonight as CROSSWALK is officially old enough to legally drink alcohol. I thank everyone who has had a hand in CROSSWALK's development and I ask that you all raise your glass with me.
