Look Who's Test-Required Now

brookewhiggins

Followers of CROSSWALK's blog know that we were tracking the test-optional movement for years. Many schools moved to test-optional policies pre-pandemic and almost all schools established test-optional policies in response to the pandemic.

But even in the last several days, we are noticing that traffic for highly selective schools continues to move away from test-optional and back to test-required.

The latest schools to go test-required? University of Pennsylvania and Johns Hopkins University.

There should be little surprise here given that these two schools are highly selective.

Remember, there are a lot of test-optional schools out there, so don't fret.

But, in general, the more selective the school you want, the more likely a test is required (excluding the UC system).

Don't forget that the best resource to track testing policies is the National Center for Fair and Open Testing.

So if you want to get back on the road for test prep, contact CROSSWALK.
